The line

The bag drop is the nut nobody has cracked.

Twenty years of self-service relocated the queue without removing it. The unsolved step is acceptance — getting the bag from the passenger into the system — and that is exactly where Phoenix Kiosk starts.

Today’s kiosks just move the line

Check-in self-service shifted the queue to the bag-drop desk. The bottleneck — accepting the bag — never went away, so the lobby still backs up.

Each carrier funds, brands, and maintains its own hardware. Counters sit idle for the airlines that aren’t flying, while the busy ones overflow.

Expensive and closed

Weigh the bag at the kiosk and settle extra or overweight charges on the spot — before the bag ever moves down the belt.

Trackable bag tags

Prints conformant tags to IATA Resolution 740/753, readable and traceable at every downstream sortation point.
